WHAT WE DO

Occupational Injuries

Physiokinetic have been involved in assessing and treating occupational injuries for the past decade.  This is either on behalf of some of our corporate clients (companies/institutions) or for the individual who presents with work related musculoskeletal injuries, looking for a lasting solution.

We have experience in dealing with people involved in repetitive, physical work as well those who are predominantly desk based, using computers/laptops.  Our team are qualified in performing work station assessments and advising on modifications that may resolve your pain issues.

Typical presentations of occupational injury include spinal pain and overuse injuries (often affecting the arm and hand, such as RSI).  Our service includes a detailed assessment of the injury and possible causative factors.  Common causative factors can be specific (often repeated) work practices or sustained postures.

Our treatment approach is often multi-stranded, including where appropriate, hands-on techniques, self-management advice (posture, exercises, etc) and addressing these causative factors wherever possible.

References from some of our larger corporate clients are available on request for companies/institutions interested in working with Physiokinetic.
